If you want to know more about E-RIHS: what’s important in connecting people to facilities, resources, and services, you are invited to join this workshop.
The Swedish ArchLab is a great example of a national infrastructure for archaeological science. Phil Buckland, Director of ArchLab (Umeå University) will give a talk about the national infrastructure in Sweden, supported by Harald Hedman-Rebernig, ArchLab coordinator.
After his talk, we will ‘dissect’ the situation in the Netherlands. What is our national infrastructure for archaeological science? What are our strengths and weaknesses? What can we learn from the Swedes?
E-RIHS is a pan-European distributed research infrastructure for heritage science. It is important for archaeology as a discipline to bring researchers together and to foster an inclusive, multidisciplinary approach in order to gain a deep understanding of our past.
