Het Grote ArcheoScience Fest
PROGRAMME
Science Dialogues (English spoken)
Theaterzaal
moderatoren
Lisette Kootker & Hayley Mickleburgh

Especially for the ArcheoScienceFest, no fewer than five international science experts are being flown in! Each will offer their unique perspective and expertise on a Dutch site or theme. In the theatre hall of the castellum, they will engage in dialogue with a Dutch respondent – and with the audience of course. Moderators are Lisette Kootker and Hayley Mickleburgh.
Throughout the day, there will be five of these Science Dialogues, each featuring one international keynote speaker and one respondent in a one-hour session.
Topics will range from the search for Dutch whaling ships in the Arctic region and the spectacular analysis results of turf samples from the rampart of the Valkenburg legionary fortress, to the contribution of sedaDNA to research on the Dutch Limes. This is something you definitely don’t want to miss!
