Reference collections and materials database

OBJECTIVE to set up a network of existing physical collections and create an accessible database

The ‘reference collections’ theme includes mapping as well as digitally unlocking existing reference collections in the Netherlands and abroad, many of which are currently still stored in cabinets and on shelves. These include highly specialised collections – for instance of building materials, mortars or dendrochronology samples – but also broader built heritage collections managed by municipalities.
