Hella Hollander
Hella Hollander is Archaeology Data Station Manager at DANS. She studied archaeology and obtained her Master’s degree at Leiden University with her pioneering archaeozoological research on traces of production and use on animal-bone weaving tools. Since 2010, Hollander has been an expert on sustainable access and reuse of digital research data, including the data stored in DANS’s e-Depot for Dutch archaeology. After serving as head of the archive team and international project manager, she now works as a project manager for various infrastructures, projects and other co-creations, such as ARIADNE, 4CH, IPERION HS, Pure3D, Limes and Exalt. DANS is launching domain-specific data stations, where researchers from different scientific domains can store, share and publish their data online, either after they have completed their research or while it is still ongoing. The Archaeology Data Station is one of these.
